Spring Fair, Seed Swap, Sow & Grow

Posted on 31 March 2025

Many thanks to all the stall holders and volunteers who made this event such a success and a delight. We’ve had lots of feedback about what a special day it was and not just because of the glorious weather but because of all of you!

There was such an interesting and inspiring range of lovely, local products and projects for visitors to enjoy and we hope that all the stallholders got lots of interest and/or sales and made good connections with visitors and each other. The energy, enthusiasm and cooperation of the hard-working volunteers made everything run smoothly and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we are delighted to have made £750 for TTW (after expenses)! We are so grateful because we literally could not have done it without you. We would like to add particular thanks to Ewa who donated all the takings from her stall to TTW, which was extremely generous of her to support us in that way.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day because we hope you’d all like to do it again next spring!

Just want to say again how much I loved the day. I could really feel what a special place the community garden is, and the friendship between everyone. There was such a lovely collection of things. And so many important stalls. I met so many lovely and interesting people.

We could have done with a bit more cake as they were all so yummy!

It was such a lovely location with your forest garden and yurt outside too. I felt so much more positive after seeing … all the wonderful like minded community folk that you have gathered in. I heard so many people saying the same. Have not felt so encouraged in a long time.

It was probably one of the the best events I have been to.
